Other Details to Note

Our home is a historic home built in 1891. There are soaring ceilings, but also quite a few steps to get to the 2nd floor, where 2 of the 3 bedrooms are. Please keep this in mind if anyone in your party might have difficulty with the height or number of stairs. One of the bedrooms is located on the 1st floor and is closest to the street. Guests choosing this room may hear street noise at night as well as pedestrian traffic during the day. Cameras are located at the front and back doors that, for security purposes, record the doors and stairs. They do not record audio. If you are traveling during hurricane season, we strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance to ensure your stay is protected in the event a storm prevents you from arriving for your stay.

Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

Located in the iconic Victorian District, you are directly across from Forsyth Park and steps from the park fountain. Walk to multiple restaurants for dinner or pick up the free Dot shuttle just 2 blocks away. The area is famous for its towering oaks, historic architecture, and a local feel that is less 'touristy' than the River Street corridor while remaining walkable to everything.

Guest Access

Guests will have full access to the entire home and will be provided keyless entry codes on the day their reservation starts. There are stairs to access the home from both the front and back of the home. Only one bedroom is located on the 1st floor with a full bath down the hall. Two other bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor and the stairs are steep due to the soaring 11 foot ceilings. Please keep this in mind while booking.

This house was SUPER clean and the location enabled us to forgo a rental car. Evenings were spent on the front porch where we could sit and rock while observing the activities in the park across the street. Extremely comfortable beds with luxurious linens and plush bathroom towels were so appreciated. The kitchen had new appliances. Our hostess was always a text away to answer questions or give recommendations. We plan to return to this amazing rental.

Great location, beautiful and clean property, a lot of extras that you do not always see such as kleenex, cooking basics and spices, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, easy check out process and host very responsive, would highly recommend to others and would stay here again

This place is fantastic! It’s a beautiful, historic home. The location is great. We had a front row seat to all kinds of events at Forsyth Park. One of the cleanest vacation homes ever. Very comfortable beds. The hosts were extremely responsive and offered great suggestions when asked!
